Students in the Office Assistant program develop the skill sets needed to work in any office environment, big or small. They become proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and learn other related Microsoft business software. Students will develop general business skills and comprehensive bookkeeping skills as part of their general studies. They will also gain hands-on experience with popular accounting software packages.
The Office Assistant program preps students for all office administration tasks including creating flow charts, graphs and diagrams. Project management software MS Project is also taught, which will help students to build upon important organizational skills. |
These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. The minimum requirements for admission to CDI College is a high school diploma, unless otherwise specified in the program outline. Where applicable, applicants must provide proof of graduation at the time of enrollment or by the first day of class. Applicants who have not achieved a high school diploma can apply as a mature student. All applicants must provide proof of age and pass an entrance exam.
